This notice explains what personal data Vianet Capital collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to vianet.capital only.
Who we are

What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us:
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company, and the content of your message.
- Email. If you write to us directly, whatever you include in that correspondence.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information — IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request — for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify you.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this website. Any cookies set are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to correspond with you about it.
- To keep a record of our communications for business and compliance purposes.
- To maintain the security and availability of the website.
Where the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our lawful bases are your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and operating our business.
Who sees it
Enquiries are delivered to Vianet Capital and are read by the people who need to act on them. We use third-party service providers for website hosting and email delivery, who process data on our instructions. We do not otherwise disclose your data except where required by law or regulation.
Where it goes
Vianet Capital operates from the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, and our providers may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no more than 24 months, unless a longer period is required for legal or regulatory reasons. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or transfer it. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, write to info@vianet.capital. We will respond within one month.
If you are in the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the UAE you may complain to the relevant data protection authority under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the contact form.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
